The Necessary Infrastructure for AI Adoption

Establishing the frameworks and governance structures in the initial stages takes longer, but subsequent use cases can be implemented more efficiently once these are in place. This highlights the importance of investing time and effort to ensure a solid foundation for AI adoption.

Another critical point is gaining buy-in from executives and other departments. Johnson suggests that having multiple stakeholders who support the vision of AI adoption can help alleviate the burden on the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and increase the chances of successful implementation. This highlights the significance of collaboration and teamwork in driving AI initiatives forward.

They stress the importance of adopting an ecosystem approach to AI governance.
