Home Video Cameras and Israeli Government Hacked by "VulzSecTeam"

A hacking group from Indonesian called "VulzSecTeam" published data after hacking into Israeli gas stations, bus stations and flights following an increased number of Israeli institutions being attacked in recent weeks.

The most alarming issue is how they hacked into security cameras at the homes of Israeli citizens. Maariv, a Hebrew-language newspaper stated that the hacking group published the data on their telegram channel on Sunday.

In addition to these claims, according to Palestinian media, "VulzSecTeam" also hacked Israeli ministries of education, health and foreign affairs, as well as the Israeli Police. The Israeli government has yet to comment regarding this claim.

Israel Hit by Wave of Cyber Attacks

Israeli institutions have been targeted in a large number of cyberattacks recently. Last week several websites including Israeli banks and a utilities company were hit by cyberattacks. The websites of some of these organizations were offline on Friday afternoon.

A hacker group called "Anonymous Sudan" has claimed responsibility for the cyberattacks last week, claiming the targets are Israel Post who said their site was the victim of a Denial of Service (DoS) attack.

Additional organizations hit, according to the Jerusalem Post, included Bank Leumi, Discount Bank, Mizrahi-Tefahot, Bank Mercantile, Bank Benleumi (First International Bank of Israel) and its subsidiaries Bank Otzar Ha-hayal and Bank Massad.

Sources online state how the group have claimed responsibility for a series of cyberattacks, including distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks and defacement campaigns which it then makes known through Twitter or Telegram.
